Before joining OEHN in 2009, Ms. Walkley worked in a variety of occupational health settings including manufacturing, university and private laboratory research, defense contractors, insurance companies, third party administrators and corporations. Her skills and knowledge which she shares with our clients include workers compensation and disability case management, risk management, medical surveillance, travel medicine, onsite clinic development and policy and standard operating procedure development.
Ms. Walkley develops and manages occupational health programs for clients, in accordance with their needs, both remotely and onsite. She has also developed and administered occupational health and medical surveillance programs in university and private lab research settings for researchers and allied staff in biosafety levels 1 to 3. She participates on institutional Biosafety Committees, AAALAC accreditation preparation and other safety and regulatory committees.
Ms. Walkley also works with OEHN administration in infrastructure and new program development, development and oversight of our Exposure Response Call Center (ERCC) and provides training and support to remote nursing staff.
She received her B.A in Psychology for Emmanuel College and was a Clinical Fellow in Early Intervention at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston MA. She has a diploma in nursing from East Orange General Hospital, East Orange NJ.
