Thomas H.
Winters MD, FACOEM, FACPM, Principal and
Chief Medical Officer
for Occupational & Environmental Health Network (OEHN) and
Chief of Occupational Health Department NEBH
When an injury or illness leads to prolonged work loss, the
financial, emotional, and social costs to the disabled
individual can be devastating; while the loss of productivity
for the corporation is unmeasurable. Dr. Winters'
presentation will include: Key Points of a Fitness for Duty Exam (FFDE);
Reasonable Accommodation and the American with Disabilities Act

Chronic pain patients have three times the average risk of developing
psychiatric symptoms – while depressed
