EH&S - A Bottom Line Activity:  Presentation on November 13, 2008

OEHN is pleased to partner with Michael Amster, President and Principal Consultant of M.B. Amster & Associates, Inc. (MBAA) to present:  Environmental Health and Safety:  A Bottom Line Activity.

The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) function is often times looked upon as an activity that costs a company money.  Aside from the need to maintain compliance with the applicable regulations, this function should actually be providing management with information so that they can make business decisions.  It should be managed as are all of the other important company functions.  EH&S involvement can result in a process that is safer, more efficient, and therefore less expensive.  This presentation, including a case study, will discuss this concept.

This free presentation will take place at OEHN's offices on November 13, 2008 at: 5 Mount Royal Avenue, Marlborough, MA from 7:30 to 9 a.m.  Call Tanya Robinson at 508-251-720 or trobinson@OEHN.net for more information and to make a reservation.

MB Amster & Associates provides quality, cost effective, and timely consulting solutions to address a wide variety of EH&S program objectives and regulatory requirements on a worldwide basis to clients in the industrial and non-industrial environment.  This has included collaboration with other EH&S professionals in order to provide a single source of assistance.

We assist business management in understanding and accepting their EH&S leadership role and demonstrating their ownership of the company EH&S program.  The combination of technical and business approaches helps to achieve demonstrated significant injury and cost reductions, making EH&S a truly bottom-line business activity.
